Riverside dining encompasses many different flavors and levels of formality. Casual and inexpensive eating establishments provide for the needs of the college student population, while more formal restaurants provide venues for special occasions. American cuisine, including steakhouses, is heavily represented by the local eating establishments, as is Mexican cuisine. Mediterranean, Italian, Spanish and southwestern-style dining are also available.
